That makes me jealous. I love Moab. What trail is it with the water? Everything is quite dry when I have been there.

Never could figure out why they call it "slickrock"....it's as grippy as velcro.
You do not want to wreck your mountain bike riding that stuff-it instantly grinds your skin off.

we were talking about that. It literally IS sandpaper. The rock was gripper than my brakes. they were just holding on on this hill (wet rotors)

Grr..my jealousy can only be measured in lb/feet.
Moab is on my bucket list, unfortunately it is over 8000 miles from where I sit. Almost convinced the wife to go last year after telling her 'its only a short drive from LA...'
